Gold Concert Band
About Us
We have 1 section of Gold Concert Band this year and they meet during 6th hour.
The Gold Concert Band typically performs 6 concerts each year, one per quarter, the 6th Grade Feeder Festival, as well as participating in the ABODA Area Band Festival.
The 8th Graders from the Black and Gold Concert Bands have also participated in the Disneyland Soundtrack Session, where students get to experience a real recording studio and create short soundtracks to Disney clips!
The Gold Concert Band plays a variety of music and styles, but its primary purpose is to develop overall musicianship at a faster pace — focusing on the improvement of tone quality, intonation, balance and blend, phrasing, technique, and rhythm reading.
