Help Support Our Program

Your generosity and support play a crucial role in allowing students to thrive and reach their full potential. We wholeheartedly encourage you to take a moment to explore the different ways you can contribute to our program. Our band program utilizes funds for a variety of needs including music festivals, transportation, recognition awards, field trips, instruments repairs, new instruments, new music, guest clinicians, and more. Below, you will find several options to support our mission and make a meaningful impact on our students' lives. Thank you for considering this opportunity to help out!

Standard Donation

To make a standard donation, simply make a check out to GRJHS Band Boosters or Venmo @Gjhband with a note that says it is a donation. You can bring check donations to the front office, where a receipt with a Tax ID will be provided. (This is NOT the same as a Tax Credit Donation)

Instrument Donation

Do you have an old instrument just sitting in your closet? We’d love to take it off your hands! Just let us know and we’ll make sure it finds a good home. Many students for years to come will benefit from a generous donation of your "retired" instrument!

AZ Tax Credit Donation

Parents are encouraged to take advantage of an Arizona tax law that allows taxpayers a credit of up to $200 per individual and $400 for joint tax returns per each calendar year, when they contribute to extracurricular activities.

For every tax credit dollar you donate, that amount can be applied as a credit (up to $200/$400) towards the state taxes you owe at the end of the year. No matter what increment you donate, it will only benefit you at tax time!

Also, encourage your family, neighbors, and friends to make a tax credit donation to GrJHS Band because Tax Credit donations benefit everyone involved, and they don’t even need to have a kid in the program.
